Our timeline.

2002

The President and founder of the Feet Up Group, joins the Youth Hostels group in Valencia Hôme Hostels (www.likeathome.net) – Spain, as manager and administrator of Hôme Youth Hostel and Hôme Backpackers Valencia, a company in which he worked as such until 2006.

2005

Awarded Best Hostel Chain in the world (2005) and 6th Hostel in the world in 2005 by HostelWorld.

Estos premios fueron otorgados como mejores albergues de España al Hôme Youth Hostel Valencia y al Hôme Backpackers Hostel Valencia que están situados en el corazón de la ciudad, muy cerca de muchas de las atracciones turísticas de Valencia.

En aquellos años, el turismo en Valencia estaba creciendo.

2006

Un grupo de socios consigue dirigir diferentes negocios de forma independiente.

That same year saw the launch of Hilux Hostel Valencia, located very close to Hôme Youth and Hôme Backpers Valencia but with a different concept in low cost accommodation.

The creation and launch of Garden House Hostel Barcelona in the L’horta neighbourhood of Barcelona is also consolidated through the website https://feetuphostels.com/.

La creación y puesta en marcha del Samay Hostel Sevilla se consolida también a través de la página web https://samayhostels.com/.

2007

Our Feetup Hostels Group becomes an active member of the Spanish Association of Youth Hostels (https://aeaj.com/ – https://backpackerspain.com/)

2008

In 2008, work began on the refurbishment of a property located in the city of Barcelona, just a few metres from the Camp Nou football stadium (Futbol Club Barcelona), which was completed at the end of March 2009 and the Yellow Nest Hostel Barcelona was established there.

2009

Inauguration of the fourth establishment in April 2009 (Yellow Nest Hostel Barcelona).

This opening is achieved by the merger of two groups in the same sector and former competitors: FeetUp Group and Nest Group (https://nesthostelsvalencia.com/).

2010

In 2010, a transfer and management agreement was signed with the Edellweiss Hostel in the city of Barcelona, renaming it Mellow Eco-Hostel Barcelona, thus achieving the incorporation of our 5th establishment in 3 years.

2011

In April 2010, the management areas are unified in a single centralised office in the city of Valencia.

Acquisition, refurbishment and start-up of a new establishment. In August of this year, the Nest Style Hotel Valencia is operated and sold.

A boutique style hotel that seeks to create an intimate and unconventional atmosphere, a new hotel concept, with rooms decorated with bright colours and fine finishes. Located in the central Avenida del Puerto Nr 77, a few meters from the famous Turia Garden (Antiguo cause del Rio Turia), close to the City of Arts and Sciences and many other places to discover during your visit to Valencia.
